01 / TEAM BLUEPRINT

What does your
next team need?

Choose a reference structure and compare it with your current team. This prepares the conversation; it is not an availability promise.

0

Headcount is only a starting point. Roles and skills need review before selecting people.

03 / HOW WE WORK

Five stages.
Clear people. Clear work.

01

Understand the need

Product, workstream, skills, overlap hours and system access requirements.

02

Match the capability

Review profiles, relevant experience and resources available to join.

03

Evaluate together

Role-specific interviews, technical discussion and shared expectations.

04

Start with a plan

Agree responsibilities, access and 30/60/90-day objectives.

05

Review & adapt

Review quality, progress, collaboration and changing capacity needs.

04 / CAPABILITY, IN CONTEXT

A profile is
the starting point.

A technology match is not enough. The right person must understand the work, collaborate with your team and meet the required working conditions.

  • 01Experience relevant to the workstream
  • 02Skills demonstrated in technical discussion
  • 03Review, communication and dependency handling
  • 04Allocation, overlap and start date

06 / FOR ENGINEERS

Your expertise.
The right context.

Talk to CTC about your experience, technologies and preferred working conditions. When there is a suitable requirement, review the work together before proceeding.

01Share your experience02Discuss technical skills03Match the requirement04Agree the working model
07 / MORE THAN A CV

Beyond filling a vacancy.
Build delivery capability.

WHEN HEADCOUNT IS THE ONLY LENS

More people may not
resolve the bottleneck.

Matching CV keywords alone

Adding people without mapping dependencies

Unclear review ownership

No defined handover owner

POWERIT / CTC SMART TECH

Relevant expertise.
Clear collaboration.

+Match skills to the workstream

+Select a specialist or team for the gap

+Agree review cadence and decision rights

+Define outputs and knowledge transfer

08 / FLEXIBLE ENGAGEMENTS

Choose the engagement
that fits the work.

Staff Augmentation and ODC are the core models. Added pods, scoped delivery and technical assessment address different starting points.

THE RIGHT SPECIALIST

Staff Augmentation

You have technical leadership and a clear backlog, but need specific skills to keep the roadmap moving.

  • Relevant profiles and a skills comparison
  • Confirmed availability and allocation
  • Rates, overlap hours and reporting
Scope & working model ↗
ADD A CAPABILITY POD

Team Augmentation

You need backend with QA, data with MLOps, or a feature team embedded in your current organisation.

  • A pod shaped around the capability gap
  • Clear boundaries between both teams
  • Technical contacts and a shared cadence
Scope & working model ↗
OWN A DELIVERY SCOPE

IT Outsourcing

You need a product, module, integration or upgrade and have an owner to confirm requirements.

  • Scope, assumptions and delivery plan
  • Software and test results
  • Technical and user documentation
Scope & working model ↗
CLARIFY BEFORE STAFFING

Discovery / Technical Assessment

Delivery is slow, but the cause may be staffing, specialist skills, system dependencies or coordination.

  • Needs and bottleneck assessment
  • Role and capability gap map
  • Staff, team augmentation or ODC options
Scope & working model ↗
VALIDATE WHEN NEEDED

POC / Pilot

Integration feasibility, performance or user experience needs validation before a larger commitment.

  • A working trial or prototype
  • Test results and solution limits
  • Technical notes, assumptions and remaining issues
Scope & working model ↗
09 / EXPLORE CTC

Explore the capability.
Ask about the scope.

A capability description does not replace confirmation of the right people. CTC profiles show product and solution thinking; staffing proposals receive a separate fit review.

10 / CONNECTED FROM VIETNAM

Different locations.
A shared cadence.

CTC is based in Vietnam. Teams across time zones agree overlap hours, language, tools and handover routines.

11 / COMMON QUESTIONS

Clarity before
the first step.

Is staff augmentation the same as body shopping?

Body shopping is often used for time-based technical staffing. PowerIT uses Staff Augmentation to make responsibilities clear: engineers join your existing team; you direct and approve technical work while CTC manages agreed staffing conditions.

How does Team Augmentation differ from ODC?

Team Augmentation adds a capability pod into your existing team and operating model. An ODC/Dedicated Team supports a longer-term product or scope with an agreed structure, leadership and delivery model.

Can we start with one engineer?

Yes, discuss a single role when the work, technical owner and working conditions are clear. Profiles and start dates depend on confirmed availability; immediate staffing is not assumed.

How is pricing determined?

By role, seniority, allocation and engagement model. Staff/ODC proposals define rates and periodic costs; outsourcing defines scope and acceptance. A specific quotation follows requirement and resource review.

Who manages and evaluates the work?

You retain technical management in Staff Augmentation. In team, ODC and outsourcing engagements, coordination, review and acceptance responsibilities are agreed explicitly before kickoff.

Can engineers work with our time zone?

Confirm overlap hours, location, language and allocation for each requirement. Round-the-clock support or universal time-zone coverage is not assumed.

How are data and source code handled?

Agree confidentiality, least-privilege access, repositories, devices and offboarding. Code ownership, documentation and handover terms are defined in the contract.

Do we need a POC before hiring a team?

No. A POC/Pilot is appropriate when a specific technical uncertainty needs testing. If the role and work are clear, proceed to profile matching and engagement terms.

LET’S BUILD WHAT’S NEXT

A specialist.
A team.
